1. Play a Round of Golf
If you’re a golf enthusiast, you’ll love Tara’s beautifully maintained 120-acre, award-winning championship golf course. Whether you’re sharpening your skills on the driving range or playing a round of golf, you’ll enjoy health benefits such as improving your muscle tone, endurance, and heart health. If you do it regularly, you might even shed a few pounds (as well as a few points from your score).
2. Enjoy Tennis or Pickleball
Our tennis courts are available for open play daily from 7 am to 10 pm. We also offer regularly scheduled men’s, women’s, and mixed doubles groups. This is a great way to meet new people while also enjoying Florida’s beautiful weather.
Prefer something a bit more laid-back? Why not try your hand at pickleball! This family-friendly, low-impact game is perfect for players of all ages. We’ve recently added courts at the Terrace for all of our members to enjoy. +
3. Pay a Visit to the Gym
Those who prefer traditional exercise can work up a sweat in our state-of-the-art fitness center. It’s equipped with everything you need, including weight machines, free weights, stationary bikes, elliptical machines, and treadmills.
We also offer a variety of instructor-led group fitness classes. Want to boost your cardio or dance the day away? We have a class for you!
4. Take a Dip in the Pool
Getting fit doesn’t have to be hard! A dip in the pool and a couple of laps can sometimes be exactly what the doctor ordered. If you want to stay cool while you work out, gather your family or friends for a game of water volleyball or sign up for a group water aerobics class.
5. Find Your Zen
Often, winding down is just as important as toning up. Our meditation and yoga classes are the perfect way to relax, center, and find your Zen. In addition to the physical benefits, practicing yoga regularly can relieve stress, sharpen concentration, improve mental clarity, and create a sense of calmness. Meditation can also help you focus on the present, reduce negative emotions, and increase your patience and tolerance.
