Tara Golf and Country Club’s Jimmy Buffett style buffet: Celebrating our course reopening
On Saturday, November 4th, 2023, Tara Golf and Country Club hosted a spectacular event that transported its members and guests straight to Margaritaville. It was an evening filled with tropical vibes, steel drums, delicious cuisine, and a sense of celebration as we marked the reopening of our golf course after months of extensive renovations. The sun may have set, but the party was just getting started!
The journey to revitalizing our golf course began many months ago. Tara Golf and Country Club is committed to providing an exceptional experience to our members, and to achieve that, we knew we needed to invest in improvements that would enhance the overall quality of our course. This meant temporarily closing the course to undergo significant renovations to ensure an even more enjoyable golfing experience.
The Jimmy Buffett Vibe
As the clock struck 5:30 pm on November 4th, the Tara Golf and Country Club transformed into a tropical paradise inspired by the legendary Jimmy Buffett. The vibrant colors and tropical decorations instantly transported guests to a Margaritaville state of mind. Our event was all about embracing the laid-back island lifestyle and celebrating the reopening of our golf course with a dash of Floridian flair.
The evening’s festivities were kicked off with a mouthwatering buffet that featured a delectable array dishes.
No Margaritaville-inspired evening would be complete without the smooth, rhythmic sounds of steel drums. Our guests were serenaded by a talented live band that brought the spirit of the Caribbean to Tara Golf and Country Club. The tropical melodies added an enchanting atmosphere to the event, and many couldn’t resist swaying to the music.
As the evening continued, laughter and joy filled the air. The camaraderie among our members and guests was heartwarming. It was evident that this event was not only a celebration of our golf course’s reopening but also a testament to the strong sense of community at Tara Golf and Country Club.
The Jimmy Buffett-themed celebration of Tara Golf and Country Club’s was a resounding success. It was a night filled with music, laughter, and delicious food—not to mention a real parrot as a special guest. We are immensely grateful to our members and guests for joining us in marking this special occasion.
