Taste of Italy returns to Tara Golf & Country Club

Tara Golf and Country Club residents enjoyed the San Gennaro Festival on September 17, 2022. This was the first San Gennaro festival held since 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I’m glad everything is back, especially this (festival) because it’s a huge hit,” said Kay McKernan. “Everybody loves this festival. The food is great. They always have different activities going on. It’s an easy, social get-together.”

The festival allowed guests to enjoy Italian food, music, and trivia about Italy.

Tara’s resident, Stacey Vlahakus, was thrilled to see the return of the festival. Vlahakus enjoyed a plate of pasta, then explored the dessert options, which included almond cream cake, tiramisu and pizzelles.

We loved experiencing the San Gennaro festival again. Thank you to everyone who participated. We look forward to holding more events and festivals in the future.
