Established in 1989, Tara Golf & Country Club is located within the Tara Community on the central west coast of Florida in Bradenton. It is a private golf club and bundled community. Membership is equity-owned, attached to property deeds, and remains with the property.

Tara Golf & Country Club is situated a few miles north of Sarasota and approximately forty miles south of Tampa, making it a short drive away from Tampa Bay’s sports venues, theaters, museums, and theme parks.
The Tara Development Project was begun by Tara-Manatee, Inc., a division of Power Corporation in Naples, Florida. Our club was the first stage of development of 1,023 properties which include single-family homes, veranda-style condos, multi-story terrace condos with elevator access, and paired villas.
